The CMI Story

Founded in 2005 by Bryan Jaskolka, Canadian Mortgages Inc. (CMI) has evolved from a traditional consumer mortgage brokerage into a leader in alternative lending and investment. In response to the 2008 financial crisis, we pivoted to meet the growing demand for private lending, expanding our offerings in 2011 to serve advisors and their high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. With over $1 billion in deals since inception and numerous industry accolades, our rigorous due diligence and deep market expertise have positioned us at the forefront of Canada’s non-bank financial services market.
